Looks like we're entering mid-week higher temperatures. This means that the snow will be melting, creating wet roads. It's unlikely to freeze for a while, but watch out for patches of slippery slush just the same!
Happy Monday everyone! please drive safely on these slippery roads & be careful of less confident drivers!
Don't use a vinegar-water solution to de-ice your windows and mirrors.
A common consensus among car detailers is that if the vinegar solution is not removed properly, it could remove the wax from your car and damage the paint, the seals and any chrome surfaces it comes into contact with.
Use commercial products instead, and follow the instructions closely on the packaging.
Scraping ice from your side mirrors scratches them, so put a sock on them!
The frost and ice will adhere to the fibers in the sock, and leave your mirror clean and clear.

We're over the mid-week hump again folks, and we're getting closer and closer to Christmas.... a scary thought for most of us.
Crowded shopping malls means a free-for-all in adjacent parking lots, so be extra cautious. Watch out for people backing out of stalls, or turning without signaling. Stay calm, even if someone steals the only parking spot you managed to find after 20 minutes of driving around... The worst thing you can do is drive agitated. It's dangerous, and makes your shopping experience even more unpleasant.
Check out this article on how to keep your cool when the Christmas rush just becomes too much!
